History

After 30 years working for a local building firm John T Ward Senior decided to start out on his own. The company,  J.T. Ward Joinery was founded in 1974. In 1978 Martin Ward joined his father as an apprentice.

Over the years the business has grown and we now employ 7 fully trained joiners, 1 wood machinist and an apprentice joiner. Martin is now at the helm steering the Company into the 21st century. His wife, Debra, having had over 25 years experience in the financial world, runs the office and financial side, whilst Martin looks after the very busy workshop.

We are a real family run business with a wealth of experience and a great team of craftsmen and women who have learned their trade using time honoured methods. We  all  take  personal  pride  in  the work we produce and have strict standards that we work to.
